Purple Summers slowly came to her senses.
She had been in between sleep and wakefulness just now, and in a moment of hysteria, when she saw Alexander Summers walking towards the window, her mind went blank and she rushed over without a second thought.
Now that she had regained her composure, she realized how ridiculous her behavior had been.
Remembering the words Alexander had used to soothe her, she murmured softly, "Nonsense, I'm not that capable."
Alexander wrapped her in his arms to lie down, his voice tinged with a teasing laughter, "You are very capable indeed. You miss me to death when we don't see each other for a few days, you crave for my kisses so much that you could die when we don't kiss for a few days, and when we don't..."
His voice grew lower and lower until it submerged into the darkness, leaving only the increasingly rapid pants...
