Although Jade City was a lawless place, it was still located within the sphere of influence belonging to the Sea Martial Sect.
Kai Syaoran walked to the gate and as he moved closer, the people made way for him to pass. He wore the robes of the Sea Martial sect and in his hand, he held a token showing that he was an outer sect disciple of this powerful faction.
He easily entered the city and the moment he made it through, the people went back to their lawless ways as they pushed each other to get into the city instead of forming a line to make things easy for everyone.
The city was quite a sight to see.
It was vibrant and each street was packed with shops and people. The place did not have any laws but it operated in a manner that put many so-called righteous cities to shame. Kai Syaoran did not yet know how all this was possible, but he did not care much about it. His goal in the city was to kill the people on the Black List and to carry out some business on the side.
