On top of this, he had to cut out his own heart and present it to the Thunder Emperor.
The elder looked at the beast before him and was finally able to understand something very important about the situation. He was not dealing with a human but a demonic beast. This was a creature that had very different beliefs and experiences from those of a human. Elder Chi had been thinking of him as a human since he now looked human. This miscalculation had led him down the wrong path. He was filled with regret, but there was no medicine for such a thing.
