Chapter 4 - A New Ability Unlocked

So a hyper dash is an ability that is performed by jumping at a high speed and going down in mid air then jumping once more. This Is a very hard skill to consistently perform that is needed to get passed a lot of levels. He then comes across the amethyst taverns. In the amethyst tarvens a new item is introduced called the lag projectile.

This item once shot by amethyst plants moves slower than the perceived speed which opens a path to get damaged. Maru luckily avoids them but, is caught of guard when he misses a hyper dash and is hit by a lag projectile which give him slowness and gives way for him to be overtaken. He could not risk losing so he performs a skill which uses a skill which is done by doing a hyper dash, cancelling it mid air and then doing another hyper dash, this can only be done when falling of high objectives and it's hard to master because they are barely any situations to use. It is so effective that it allows him to overtake the person at first place and will get him far enough to perform a bug.

The bug is done by using a delayed hyper dash into a wall while sliding in the air. He then uses it and manages to pass the first tall tunnel. As the slowness effect leaves him, He uses the next bug called "The vent hole".

The vent hole is a glitch in the map that when you carry a piece of amethyst and slip it under the door of the reactor, the door will send you to the "foregrounds" which is the first place that was to be made which allows the admins to finish the game without going to the reactor which was very time consuming. In the foregrounds there is an empty object which cannot be seen but, can be walked on for about 5 minutes which will save you from going through the reactor.

He then uses this method and manages to get there and begins to hyper dash there at top speed which gives him a gap between him and other players. He then does a quad leap which is when you hyper dash then, jump on the air four times which requires near perfect timing to achieve. This move was easily possible when he played the game but, now he can't just forego physics so because, he had to jump with his legs.

He then finally reaches the break of point where the developer stopped making the game on the foregrounds and started making it slightly higher on the natural plane. So he hyper dashes and grabs the ceiling before using an amethyst to charge up a second hyper dash.

Amethyst have the ability to charge characters abilities and enables them to use it even in mid air. He then leaves the foregrounds back onto normal floor.
