Rama didn't respond immediately. He could hardly believe that Alysia, the daughter of the Arcane Sentinels guild master, had asked him directly to be her partner for a mission.
But then Rama realized that what he had done over the past few days might have raised Alysia's opinion of him. After all, he was the one who had killed and stopped the Necromancer before she could destroy the city.
If this were his life before obtaining the mysterious power, Rama wouldn't have dared to even imagine speaking with Alysia.
"What mission is it?" Rama asked. It could be a big mission because Zane had sent Alysia directly to handle it. Major missions typically came with substantial rewards.
"My father assigned this mission after examining the Necromancer's body. We can't discuss this over the phone, though," Alysia replied.
"Alright. I'll come over right away," Rama said.
Afterward, he cautiously left Robert's secret room, hoping not to run into anyone or having to explain his presence.
