In another room on a different floor of the same building where mother and daughter conversed about something that was limited to echo inside their room, Joanna was lying on her warm, comfortable bed.
Yet at the same time she could not feel how comfortable her bed was due to the cramp that got worse since she returned to her room after she sent her brother and her husband off to the festival.
Hugging the bottle that was filled with hot water that had been prepared by Bianca to help her soothe the pain, Joanna, who lay on the bed, opened her eyes when knocks from the other side of the door softly echoed in her room.
"Who is there?" She asked in a weak voice, directing her heavy eyes on the door.
