Synopsis
We trudged into the training grounds, our footsteps echoing off the walls. Captain Orion stood at the front, a sly grin spreading across his face. 'Today, you'll be choosing your weapons,' he announced, gesturing to a table laden with various guns, swords, and other deadly instruments. The Rank A students rushed forward, eager to claim the most powerful weapons. The Rank B and C students followed, choosing their weapons with care. Ivan, Luna, and I hung back, observing the chaos with a mixture of disinterest and wariness. We knew we wouldn't be able to compete with the higher-ranked students, but we didn't need to. Just as we were about to choose our weapons, a boy with glasses and a messy mop of hair approached us. He looked nervous, but determined. 'H-hi,' he stuttered. 'M-my name is Desmond. I'm Rank D, just like you guys.' Ivan raised an eyebrow. 'What do you want, Desmond?' Desmond swallowed hard. 'I was wondering if I could join your group. I mean, it's four to a group, right? And I don't really know anyone else.' Ivan shrugged. 'Fine. But don't expect any special treatment.'"

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Where it all begins

"Let's give it a shot," a voice said I could

Then, a splash of water hit my face.

"The fuck!" I cursed, waking up with a start.

"Finally, the sleeping beauty is awake," Luna said with a smirk.

I glared at her, rubbing my temples. What happened?

As I sat up, memories came flooding back. We were on a mission, fighting some monster working for mafia and criminals. We're kinda like that too, but, you know, rivals.

Ivan, Luna, and I were taking down the bad guys with ease. Ivan was using his electricity powers to disable their guns, while Luna was taking them down with her gravity manipulation and combat skills. I was using my sound waves to disorient them.

" Wesley, Ivan, and Luna... Another mission approaching. You have been enrolled to A.R.C. Base," Jonathan's voice echoed in our earpieces.

"What?!" we all shouted in unison, still fighting off the bad guys.

"Wes, watch out!" Ivan shouted, as a bullet whizzed past my head.

Then, bam! A monster knocked me unconscious.

How did we get here?...

Oh yeah, it all started when Jonathan adopted us. He's a multi-billionaire, scientist, and psycho. He had a vision of creating a team of super-soldiers to do his bidding.

Ivan, Luna, and I were just kids when he adopted us. Ivan was 7, Luna was 7, and I was 8. We were all orphans, and Jonathan took us under his wing.

He trained us in various skills, pushing us to our limits. He also experimented on us, giving us unique powers.

Ivan gained the ability to control electricity, Luna's strength and agility increased exponentially, and I could control sound waves.

As we grew older, Jonathan sent us on various missions, using us to eliminate his enemies and consolidate his power. We became a formidable team, working together seamlessly to accomplish our objectives . It was more like we became monster too

But Jonathan's ultimate goal remained a mystery. He was grooming us for something bigger, something that would require all our skills and strength and am sure it was something bad .

And now, here we are, enrolled in A.R.C. Base, ready to face whatever lies ahead at least it will keep us away from our cage at least for now

As we walked, the trees grew taller and the air grew thick with an eerie, unnatural silence. I could feel the weight of Jonathan's presence bearing down on us, his eyes watching us from the shadows.

After what felt like hours of walking, the trees finally parted, and we caught our first glimpse of Jonathan's mansion. It was a sprawling estate, its walls towering above us like a monolith.

The mansion's facade was imposing, its stone walls covered in ivy and moss. The windows were narrow and pointed, like the slits in a medieval castle.

Luna whistled softly. "This place looks like a fortress."

Ivan nodded. "It's designed to keep people out...or in."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as we approached the entrance. The massive wooden doors were adorned with intricate carvings of snakes and eagles, symbols of power and control.

As we stepped inside, the doors creaked shut behind us, enveloping us in the familiar opulence of Jonathan's mansion. The interior was lavish, with marble floors, crystal chandeliers, and paintings that seemed to watch us as we moved.

We made our way to the living room, where Jonathan was waiting for us. He was sitting in his favorite armchair, a cigar clenched between his teeth.

"Welcome back, my children," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I trust you're ready for the next phase of your training."

I exchanged a wary glance with Ivan and Luna. We knew that Jonathan's true intentions were far from pure.

With a deep breath, we steeled ourselves for what was to come. Little did we know, our lives were about to change forever.

Jonathan's eyes seemed to bore into our souls as he continued, "Your next mission will require all your skills and strength. You'll be enrolling in A.R.C. Base, a training facility for...special operatives."

Luna raised an eyebrow. "What kind of operatives?"

Jonathan's smile was cold and calculating. "The kind that can handle the extraordinary. You'll be learning new skills, facing new challenges, and making new...allies." of cause just to use them

Ivan's eyes narrowed. "What's the real purpose of this training, Jonathan?"

Jonathan's expression was unreadable. "All will be revealed in due time. For now, let's just say that you're being prepared for a greater purpose."

I felt a chill run down my spine as Jonathan's words hung in the air. What did he have planned for us? And what lay ahead at A.R.C. Base?

As we stood there, frozen in uncertainty, Jonathan's voice cut through the silence. "You'll be leaving at dawn. Be ready."

With that, he dismissed us, leaving us to our thoughts. As we filed out of the living room, I couldn't shake the feeling that our lives were about to take a drastic turn .

Little did we know, we were just pawns in Jonathan's game of power and deception. And we were about to find ourselves in the midst of a deadly game.

Jonathan emerged from the living room his eyes scanning us with a critical gaze. What his he doing here again... "Tomorrow, I'll be taking you to A.R.C. Academy," he said, his voice firm. "You'll be posing as students, but I need you to keep a low profile."

He pulled out his tablet and began typing on it, his eyes fixed on the screen. "I don't want you to draw attention to yourselves. Act weak, vulnerable...don't show off your skills."

Ivan, Luna, and I exchanged skeptical glances. It went against our training to appear weak, but we knew better than to question Jonathan's orders.

"Understand?" Jonathan asked, still not looking up from his tablet.

"Yes, sir," we replied in unison, our voices neutral.

Jonathan nodded, his eyes still fixed on the screen. "Good. I'll be driving you to the academy tomorrow. Be ready."

With that, he turned and walked back into the limousine, leaving us standing alone in the darkness.

Ivan, Luna, and I looked at each other, our faces expressionless. But I knew that we were all thinking the same thing: what lay ahead, and how would we navigate this new challenge?
