Charlotte Green sneered internally and turned to walk out of the kitchen.
From time to time, Giselle's screams could be heard from the kitchen, each time there was a sizzle of oil, or her exaggerated praises erupted. Charlotte really admired Kevin Cliff's ability to cook such high-quality dishes under such conditions.
"Not ready yet?" Kevin Cliff asked as he took off his apron and stepped forward.
"Mm, almost done," Charlotte Green replied, placing the peeled orange into the juicer.
"What happened to your hand?" Kevin Cliff, with his keen eyes, spotted her right ring finger cut and quickly reached forward with a stern look to inquire.
"Just a small scrape, it's nothing," Charlotte tried to retract her hand, but he held on tight.
