"It's nothing, I just want to remove the 'former' from her identity." Kevin Cliff said with a sly smile.
Abigail Summer startled, "Are you planning to force her again? Like back then?"
"No! This time, I want her to be willing!" Kevin Cliff declared determinedly, then stepped towards the two children.
Abigail Summer understood that his bargaining chip was Chris!
"Charlotte, let me help you," Abigail Summer offered as she walked into the kitchen and started picking vegetables for her. Charlotte initially wanted to decline, but then thought, why bother, and let her do it.
"I heard you're adopting Chris?" Abigail Summer asked, seeing that she was not being her usual mocking self and wasn't giving her the cold shoulder, she asked with joy.
"My affairs are none of your business." Charlotte Green replied coldly, rejecting the conversation.
Abigail Summer persisted, "What if you're not qualified for adoption?"
