Louis Rockefeller was stunned for a moment, then burst into hearty laughter, "Good lad, no wonder Kevin is so eager to have you, it turns out you really are a treasure!"
"Daddy!" Giselle suddenly appeared and threw herself into her father's arms, "Daddy, you're not leaving again this time, are you?"
"No, Daddy's not leaving. I'm here to stay with my precious daughter," Louis Rockefeller said, kissing his daughter's cheek, primarily feeling that the failed engagement had been too big of a blow for her.
"I knew Daddy was the best!" Giselle cooed, her eyes flashing with cunning.
"Can I go out to play?" The soft, sweet voice drew Giselle's attention, and she turned to see the boy she had ignored from the start, "How come you're here?"
Chris didn't speak, no, he disdained to speak.
"Giselle, he's the one I just brought back, his name is Chris, and he'll be staying here for the time being," Louis Rockefeller informed Chris as well.
