"Yes!" Charlotte Green admitted without hesitation that she missed him.
She had thought it over; they no longer needed so much restraint between them. They had really wasted too much time already.
Kevin Cliff affectionately stroked her head, his long fingers threading through her straightened hair, "Why did you straighten it?"
"You said you didn't like curly hair," Charlotte admitted in a low voice, looking down.
Kevin Cliff gently smiled, somewhat appeased by her response, "Don't do it again in the future; it's damaging to your hair."
Charlotte nodded and snuggled into his embrace, "If you say not to do it, then I won't."
Her gentle compliance softened his heart.
