She had only taken a few steps when the sound of a door opening came from behind her. She paused for a moment but didn't turn back and continued on her way.
To Xaviar's surprise, even after he opened the door, Anna still didn't pay attention to him, so he quickly ran forward a few steps and grabbed Anna's arm.
"Anna, are you always so heartless, planning to leave me behind again?" Xaviar's voice was tinged with a whine, clearly on the verge of tears.
Anna couldn't help laughing upon hearing this. She turned her head and looked down at the child beside her, "If I really didn't want to deal with you, I would have just handed the school bag to Aunt Tara and left. Why would I bother coming up to find you?"
"Alright, then," Xaviar finally broke into a smile, and pulling Anna's hand, he walked toward his room, "Anna, come and take a look at our room."
