Anna thought she would stay at the beach until the afternoon, and then Jeremy would drive back to Bay City since it was the Mid-Autumn Festival today. He was supposed to rush back to celebrate with his family.
As for her, she also wanted to return and celebrate the festival with Chris, especially since Chris was alone in the rehabilitation hospital, which felt quite lonely.
But to her surprise, Jeremy didn't head back after checking out at noon. Instead, he took her and Xaviar aboard a large yacht, clearly heading somewhere else.
"Hey, aren't we going back to Bay City today?" Anna asked nervously once they were on the yacht.
"Did I ever say we were going back today?" Jeremy frowned, perhaps annoyed by her unauthorized purchase of contraceptive pills, and spoke with a hint of impatience.
"But it's Mid-Autumn Festival today, don't you need to go back and celebrate with your family?" Anna asked, puzzled, looking at the father and son.
