"Use my phone to make the call," Melody Duncan generously offered her own mobile phone to Emma Osborne.
"The thing is... My boyfriend and I had a fight, and he's giving me the cold shoulder. He'll hang up the phone as soon as he hears my voice," Emma Osborne said cautiously, looking at Melody Duncan, "Director Duncan, could you trouble yourself to call him and ask him to come over?"
Melody Duncan's brows furrowed slightly. She wasn't familiar with making calls to family members, and it was almost true to say she had never done it before.
She then turned to the nurse beside her and said, "Griffin, please help make a call to the family member, explain the situation, and ask him to hurry over. Without the family member's signature, we dare not perform surgery on Miss Osborne."
