"If you don't want to be just siblings with her, you'll have to figure out a way to win her back," Kennedy Osborne swept a large hand, "Go now, I need to rest. Your grandmother will be discharged from the hospital in two days, so you better think quickly about what to do. You can't let her last journey be an uneasy one, can you?"
Connor Osborne pursed his thin lips, glanced at the weary-faced Kennedy Osborne, and finally said nothing more, but quietly exited the old master's study room.
As soon as he left the study room, he ran into his mother, Lannie Ward, at the corner. She looked at Connor Osborne nervously and asked, "What did Grandfather say to you?"
"He talked to me about how to repay Anna's kindness," Connor Osborne replied truthfully.
"As for repaying her, of course you should try to win her back," Lannie Ward glanced at Connor Osborne and said, "Could there be any other way?"
