"I am a man who has had a child," Jeremy Thompson replied calmly, looking at his father and speaking seriously, "And I've been with more than just one woman, whereas she has been married to only one husband from the start to the end."
Jeremy Thompson paused here, then enunciated each word, "When it comes to being sullied, I am filthier than she is!"
"You..." Ethan Thompson was almost choked with rage.
"Fine, I'll just treat this as if you were playing around once while being outside," Ethan Thompson waved his hand dismissively, slightly irritated as he spoke, "Today's newspaper has published the story; it's not good for her or you. Issue a statement in the newspaper tomorrow, just say you're merely friends with her."
"Just friends?" Jeremy Thompson frowned subtly and said to his tired father, "I just said she is my woman now, how can I just be friends with her?"
