"Maybe she went to buy breakfast," Jeremy Thompson said casually.
To his surprise, Xaviar actually believed it, "Right, there's hardly any food in Anna's refrigerator. She must have gone to buy breakfast for me; I'll go downstairs and wait for her."
Having said that, Xaviar rolled his eyes at Jeremy, who was still standing at the bathroom door, "Dad, aren't you in a hurry to pee? Why not hurry up and go, unless you want to wet your pants?"
Jeremy pushed the door and entered. Xaviar, on the other hand, turned and strode out of the spacious master bedroom, looking forward to meeting Anna downstairs with the breakfast.
As soon as Jeremy entered the bathroom, Anna couldn't help but whisper anxiously, "You lied to him about me buying breakfast. What are we going to do when there's no breakfast? Besides, I'm still at home!"
Anna was as anxious as an ant on a hot pot. Xaviar had come over, and now they were in such a predicament. What to do?
