Joseph Thompson drove to Zachary Thompson's house, and there was Alexander Preston accompanying a heavily pregnant Raine Thompson on a walk in the garden. Raine was about seven or eight months pregnant, with a huge belly, waddling like a penguin.
When the doorbell rang, both Alexander Preston and Raine Thompson were momentarily taken aback, then Alexander asked Raine to sit down on a stool in the yard to ensure she was safe before going to open the gate.
As he opened the gate and saw that it was Joseph Thompson standing outside the door, Alexander was clearly startled, but then he quickly stepped aside to let him in, calling out, "Uncle has come over."
Alexander had once been Jaylene Ziel's boyfriend, two years younger than Joseph Thompson, and only five years younger than Jeremy Thompson. But since he and Raine Thompson are husband and wife, by convention, he had to call Joseph Thompson "Uncle."
