"..." Marcus Moore could not muster a rebuttal, instead, he poured her a cup of hot water, "Drink some, warm yourself up."
"Marcus, don't you want to have her?" Kathrine stopped him by grabbing him, keeping him at her side.
Marcus sat down as if resigned and spread his hands, "Wanting her and being able to have her are two different matters."
"Why are you so defeatist!"
Kathrine turned his face towards her, repeatedly saying, "Since Young Master Gong can't return now, isn't this the perfect opportunity for you to step in while he's away?"
"That's immoral."
Marcus resisted saying, "And besides, Ella doesn't like me. I've given up on ever having her since the incident on Mount Glimmer."
