Back at their seats.
Marcus Moore greeted her warmly, "Ella, are you alright?"
Ella Lacey wiped Reese's eyes and glanced at her baby, speaking softly, "I'm fine now."
"Then have some more food." Marcus smiled sheepishly.
"Yeah, the food at this western restaurant is quite good indeed," Ella deliberately flattered him as she cut a small piece of beef steak to eat.
Marcus was very pleased and cheerfully told Cherline Lindsey, "Little Midge, you should eat some more too."
"No thank you." Little Midge was very principled.
She wouldn't eat food from a bad man.
Marcus hit another wall, obsequiously asking her, "What would you like to eat? Uncle Marcus can order something else for you, okay?"
"I just want to take my mommy home." Little Midge clearly had no interest in the food here.
"..." Marcus handed her the menu, continuing to pester, "There's no rush. Let's go home after eating."
"Forget it, Marcus, Little Midge isn't in the mood, don't make it hard for her."
