"Sister, who are you looking for?"
A somewhat childish voice rang out from behind, and Kiara turned around to see a little girl standing behind her, holding an empty bucket that once contained dirty water.
Her facial features looked somewhat familiar.
There was no independent drainage system in this type of housing area; all the dirty water from homes had to be carried in buckets, then poured into the gutter. Seeing this little girl, Kiara was slightly taken aback, instinctively feeling fond of her.
Judging by the girl's outfit, she must still be a middle school student. These days, kids were spoiled by their parents; where would you find such a sensible child willing to help with household chores?
Looking at her, Kiara was reminded of her own childhood. She, too, had been a sensible child. While other kids were enjoying the care of their parents, she already knew how to share some of the household burdens.
"Little sister, does Flora Jim live here?"
