Molly Palmer left the hotel in quite a good mood, her entire aura transformed after changing clothes, and she seemed very happy to return to being herself.
She reached out to hail a cab when suddenly, she spotted a figure standing on the opposite side of the street. Molly's good mood froze as if doused with cold water—the woman across the street was wearing a butterfly mask.
The butterfly mask had been brought over by Kiara from the Domestic Region, and Molly had just returned to the hotel to look for it.
Seeing that figure across the street made Molly feel as though her blood was turning to ice, involuntarily recalling the painful experience of her last disastrous encounter with the masked woman.
Kiara extended her finger and shook it at Molly, signaling, "You're not up to the challenge."
Then she turned and walked away. Molly hurriedly followed. Kiara weaved into an alley, and Molly followed her in, unawares that she was being lured to a deserted area.
