Kiara braced herself for the sight of Aka with dark circles under her eyes, looking worn out, but instead she found that Aka wasn't lying in bed asleep; it was Zoel Cohen who came over, yawning and listless.
"You battled with someone until daybreak?" Mario Yuno raised an eyebrow.
Zoel Cohen snorted, "I wish."
Seeing how soundly Aka was sleeping, not waking even as people entered, Kiara asked Zoel Cohen.
"What method did you use to put her to sleep?"
Zoel Cohen glanced at Mario Yuno; the youngest brother of the Yuno family had such a sleazy look in his eyes, probably imagining something unspeakable.
Mr. Zoel really wanted to boast that he "put his body to work" and tired someone out enough to fall asleep.
But considering that Emma Clark was a professional psychologist, lying to her would be like the emperor's new clothes; hence, Mr. Zoel could only confess honestly.
"I added sleeping pills to her milk before sleep."
And then she slept until daybreak.
