"Got it," Qin Jiale responded to her mother, but her hands didn't stop moving.
"Lele, your mom is so warm and polite, I can't quite handle it," Xu Shaoqin said after Nangong Shulan left, patting her chest. It's just a bit awkward interacting with the elders.
"It's fine, my mom is just worried you might dirty your clothes. As long as you don't mind, it's all good," Qin Jiale said. When she first started learning, her mom didn't say much either and just let her older sister teach her hands-on.
And she didn't know whether she just had a knack for cooking, but once she started learning, she did it quite well. So now, whenever she comes back, she always helps her mom out.
"Yeah, no problem, we don't mind, right?" Xu Shaoqin asked the others.
"Right."
"Time to eat." The five girls each carried a dish out and placed them on the table.
