When Sterling Norwood finished his work and came to the nursery to find Selena Kensington, he saw little Celeste laughing joyfully. She was lying quietly in Selena's arms, still gripping Selena's clothes, as if wanting to get closer, like she was being affectionate.
"Why aren't they asleep yet?"
Sterling came over and asked casually.
Hearing the footsteps and Sterling's voice behind her, Selena turned around helplessly.
She explained to Sterling, "They woke up just now, and seemed to have no sleepiness at all. I played with them for a while, and who knew little Celeste's energy just got stronger."
Little Celeste, upon hearing her mom's words, cooperated with a cheerful 'goo-goo' sound.
Listening to her daughter's call, the smile on Selena's lips widened a little more.
Sterling lowered his head to glance at little Seraphina lying quietly in the crib, then turned to look at little Celeste in Selena's arms.
"It's time to sleep."
He seemed to be speaking to both siblings.
