"Is this all you have for me," Oregon was disappointed to say the least.
He had been apart of the Wanderer's Guild in his past life, so he was used to seeing news and quests pertaining to powerful beings.
The immortal level may have seemed like an insurmountable obstacle then, but he had achieved it rather simply with his new body.
He had only spent around five years in this new life yet he achieved something he never could have with his previous limitations.
With the miraculous organs, he could think and process faster and create new minerals to add to his composition.
Additionally, the soul stone boosted his spiritual power and internal structure through it's high purity of energy.
If it were before, he would have considered these Stonemen to be gods.
Now, he only felt like he was being taught a lesson he had not previously considered.
"On one hand, we can produce more of our innate composition to become larger and denser."
"On the other, we can focus on amplifying the unique properties our composition possesses to deal more damage."
His own development was strange.
Oregon could generate far more cells and even dictate their locations as his Soul Stone's veins acted as improved pathways rather than those he first had from his Ironheart.
Were it not for his lack of time spent with the Soul Stone, he could have spent time enhancing his other organs through the connection of the Soul Stone.
Alas, he could not go into another five year long training session before he solidified his standing amongst the Stonemen.
It just so happened that he was on the cusp of a breakthrough that after his fight with the quartz Stoneman which led to him becoming Immortal with a mysterious stone as his main body.
It defied gravity as a defining point, but it's other properties remained unknown.
"Time to show off in front of these posers," Oregon began generating large amounts of the stone as he thought of a suitable name for it.
'Ah! I know, I'll called it Void Stone. My Soul Stone will be protected by the void itself. No monsters will be able to reach it.'
Terresa wondered what kind of monster he was referring to as she saw his body becoming denser with seemingly no limit!
While he was still in thought after recalling the events of his past life, Oregon was accumulating a vast quantity of Void Stone without even increasing in size.
The Void Stone simply slid together after being produced which made it seem like nothing was happening on the outside.
After a while, Oregon snapped out of it and slowly descended.
His presence was detected after he did so to the surprise of the two combatants.
"What is the guest doing here? Terresa never said anything about this!"
"She didn't! So why exactly is he here?"
Oregon ignored their questions and made a declaration, "I'll fight the two of you. Come at me at the same time or I'll deck you."
With their pride tarnished, the two Stonemen shouted, "Who the hell do you think you are?!"
"I'm sure Terresa has mentioned my latest ascension. That's why you're fighting after all," he answered simply, still not touching the ground.
"As for my name...," he ceased his hovering over the ground, "...I am Oregon!"
Boom!
The ground shattered beneath his weight leaving a crater where he stood.
He raised his hand to wave them over to which they both erupted.
The diamond Stoneman raced towards Oregon as he was faster.
His drill rotated as he approached, but his opponent showed that he was confident in his decision to face the two of them.
Oregon stood still, but that did not mean he was not acting.
He wanted to test his Void Stone, so what better mineral than diamond was there?
Actually, he knew a few thanks to Terresa's knowledge, but that was besides the point.
Oregon— with his hand still raised— started creating a spear with the Void Stone he had added to his body.
The Void Stone barely had a reflection as it absorbed most traces of light, so you had to squint too see the uneven surfaces and joints.
He finished creating the spear almost instantly as he already prepared the Void Stone.
All he had to do was control the stone to form the shape of a crude spear, granted it was not as dense as he currently was.
He swung it at the approaching Stoneman who wished to meet the spear head on with his drill arm.
The successful clash of the two caused a slight shockwave that picked up a cloud of dust.
"Why waste your time blundering about when you could maintain your distance with a simple weapon?"
Oregon even made the tip of the spear rotate as if to mock him.
His Void Stone was in no way weaker than diamond which said a lot about how powerful the Soul Stone was.
The obsidian Stoneman had approached in the time it took for the first exchange to end and he wanted to swat Oregon away.
Unfortunately for him, obsidian just was not as hard as diamond.
Oregon had not even moved from his position as the hand came towards him.
He turned to face the obsidian Stoneman with an unamused expression that almost made him want to stop his hand.
Crash!
The large obsidian hand broke as it made contact with Oregon's body.
And still, Oregon remained unmoved, "Being a little bigger doesn't make you any stronger if you don't shift your weight properly."
He then shifted all of the weight of the Void Stone to the spear and launched it at the diamond Stoneman.
This caught him off guard as he raised his arms to block the incoming spear.
Consequently, his fingers were broken as the spear broke through his defenses and pierced his chest.
Without even acknowledging the result of the attack, Oregon flew through the air and gave a spinning kick to the obsidian Stoneman's head.
The impact shattered a portion of his head and had his towering figure fall to the ground.
Neither of the attacks would kill the two, but they would still be stuck regenerating themselves for a while.
"You're lucky," he pointed at the diamond Stoneman, "If you assimilate with that Void Stone, it'll be a boon for you."
And with that, he looked to the seats as if beckoning another challenger.
Oregon lifted his hands repeatedly in a gesture to them, "Where is my applause?!"
All but one Stoneman remained silent.
"Woohoo! Terresa has created a special stone rivalling that one!"
His words echoed in the heads of the Stonemen.
Only one Stoneman had shown such terrifying strength.
