Chapter 11 - Epilouge

Not long after Caesar died, Lisa Lisa and Suzie Q arrived. Joseph was furious. He was screaming at them, 'Why did it take you so long?' 'If you got here quicker, he could be alive now!'

He clung onto Caesar's hand until Lisa Lisa and Suzie Q had to physically drag him away. Speedwagon also showed up. He helped Joseph through the grieving process. Joseph refused to go back to his and Caesar's home, it was too much. Speedwagon understood and let him stay in Lisa Lisa's mansion for a while longer, just until he was ready to go back into the house and take what he wanted.

Joseph also had to get the hand where he was shot in the wrist, amputated. He was very against the idea, but after they showed him the cool metal hand he would have, he didn't mind.

Suzie Q was also a very big part in Joseph healing. She was there at the beginning of the battle. She comforted Joseph. Joseph comforted her. He wasn't sure why, but now he was seeing how much Suzie was like Caesar.

They were both blonde, they both had beautiful eyes, they were both firm with the way they spoke. They both loved Joseph. After a year of living with Lisa Lisa, coping, grieving, and crying, he was ready to go back into the house.

He went alone. He grabbed his things that he had brought here and the things that he had gotten here. Then, he went through Caesar's things. He looked at everything. But what caught his eyes was the bandana he had worn. He cried. He couldn't believe that Caesar was gone forever. That they would never feel each other's damp skin, that they would never kiss, never talk, never look at each other again.

But he learned to accept that. Caesar had never left him, his memory stayed behind. It stayed in Joseph's heart. So, he took the bandana.

Joseph invited Suzie Q to live with him in America. She talked to Lisa Lisa about it, and they ended up leaving Italy. Joseph left the place where he had lost the man he adored and was returning to the place where he had found him.

How poetic.

Joseph had never been so relieved to be back in the city. He was very excited about reuniting with his Granny Erina and Smokey. Both times he cried. He introduced Suzie Q to the both of them. How he wished he could've done that with Caesar.

The two of them made the decision to take over the Zeppeli Cove. The adorable cafe where all of this had started. Joseph and Suzie walked into the cafe. They walked through the kitchen where Caesar would cook every day. They looked at the countertop where he would take people's orders. Joseph didn't cry. He smiled. This place carried on Caesar's memory. He hugged Suzie Q.

A year after they had moved to New York, Suzie Q and Joseph began dating. Joseph didn't feel guilty for loving her anymore. If Caesar knew that Joseph was never going to try for love again, he would hit him with a pan.

They did reopen the Zeppeli Cove and the customers were glad. When they asked what had happened to the handsome blonde, Joseph would tell them that he's back home with his family in Italy.

As the years went by, Joseph and Suzie found themselves engaged, then married, then expecting. They named their daughter Holly. She was the love of Joseph's life. How he loved blondies.

Holly would end up being swept off her feet by a Japanese man and having a little boy, Jotaro. Jotaro was the other love of Joseph's life, although he was moody, antisocial, and quiet most of the time.

As Joseph got older, he began traveling on his own. At this point, he had a young boy, also blonde somehow, working for him at the Zeppeli Cove. His old age had made it harder for him to work, so he passed the business onto the young boy.

His old age certainly didn't stop him from reproducing at the lovely age of 62. Suzie Q was furious at him, rightfully so. But he had made it up to her by buying her a lovely home. Well, Speedwagon- no, his foundation, had helped him get this surprise for her.

She never truly forgave him, but she couldn't not love him.

The other boy was named Josuke. But Joseph wouldn't meet him for a while because he decided that Jotaro's attitude toward his mother was unacceptable. So he brought Jotaro along with him to travel the world for a few months so he can appreciate things more. They made a lot of friends on the way.

They ended up making one last stop before everyone went back home, Italy. The Speedwagon Foundation owned Lisa Lisa's old property. Joseph brought Jotaro there alone. He told him about the beautiful blonde Italian man with gorgeous green eyes that he had fallen in love with. He told him about everything. He hadn't told anybody this story in 50 years. He was able to tell every last detail without tearing up. He then showed his grandson his most prized possession, the bandana he carried in his pocket.

-

Joseph had passed away at the age of 93. He died in his sleep. Suzie Q was still alive when he had passed. He was upset that he had to leave her behind, but he had something to do.

There he was. Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli. He hadn't aged a day, still 20 years old. He looked as gorgeous as the day that Joseph had met him.

They stood before each other. "I'm hoping you still love me even though I'm an ugly, wrinkly, old man now."

They hugged each other. Joseph smiled, Caesar smiled. Caesar grabbed his hand, "Tell me about everything."

And so Joseph did. He told him every little thing that he had done since the minute after Caesar had taken his last breath.

They were finally back together after 75 long years. And there they would stay, finally at peace.
