The invasion was scary, but luckily, it wasn't apocalyptic...
20 million Void Creatures were wiped out in this battle, but this hardly puts a dent in the total amount of them out there. The office has expected more to come, but they didn't; it seems that they realized that it's a losing battle anyway and it's not worth it to send more.
On the other hand, the Border Patrol Guardians didn't suffer much. Nobody died, as a matter of fact. A lot of people were injured or passed out from exhaustion, but all lived to tell the tale. This was probably the most successful defense the guardians ever had, and there is no doubt that they owe it all to Cedric.
Speaking of Cedric, he's currently attending a debriefing meeting with the other Paragons and the Chancellors.
The atmosphere within the meeting room was strange, especially since their sole subject was rather interesting.
