Chapter 522 - 522 Invincible: Temporary Isolation, Reward and Accepting a Succubus, The General Kregg, and The Viltrum Declaration of War.

Makima knocked on Allen's bedroom door, and when she entered, she found him lying down, holding a deeply asleep Eve in his arms.

"You don't have to knock..." Allen smiled in amusement.

"I was worried about disturbing the master in his privacy..."

Makima's response, devoid of any feeling and cold as ice, left Allen silent for a moment.

The dolls, especially those who were forced to act as maids, would often take revenge on Allen by acting with formality and distance. This happened when he didn't give them enough attention, prioritizing other girls, in this case, Eve.

It was true that all girls had worked hard in their battles against the Viltrumites, and they had expected some reward for their efforts. However, Allen had been focused on Amanda, as they had officially started a relationship, which also meant he had to be more affectionate with Eve. By extension, he also spent more time with Kate. All of this caused half of the dolls to feel frustrated.

Allen looked at Makima; she hadn't changed her expression while standing by his bed, as though she had returned to the old Makima. She was wearing her maid outfit. Seeing this woman dressed like that had once felt surreal, but over time, Allen had gotten used to it.

"Makima"

"Maestro?..."

Makima looked normal to anyone who didn't know her, but after so much time, Allen was able to see beneath that cold face the emotions hidden within her heart. Her red hair reflected the light coming through the window, but instead of giving off warmth, it felt cold. Her amber eyes, though still charming, had lost the sparkle they had gained over the last year when their relationship had improved.

Allen smiled and gently floated Eve to the side, then placed her on the bed, careful not to wake her. He stood up in front of his maid, still naked, then lifted her in his arms before carrying her to the bathroom.

"...!" Makima, though expecting this, was caught off guard by the speed of the events.

'System...'

[Adjusting the temporary isolation... three hours?]

'Are you underestimating me?'

[Ten hours... though I admire that it's a great idea to not neglect any girl, doesn't it make you feel a bit guilty, using something as incredible as manipulating time for just this...]

'No.'

To hell with what others thought. Since he started altering time to his advantage, Allen could always give attention to his girls. Now, every time he returned to another world, he had time to visit half a dozen girls in one night, even more.

Allen came out into the hallway with Makima in his arms. Although their room had a small private bathroom, Allen always preferred using the main one. Plus, there was no need to be embarrassed in his own house, and only girls with whom he had a close relationship were around, so there was no problem if someone saw him.

"Isn't this kidnapping?" Makima said, looking at Allen with a hint of amusement.

"Not when you're my maid," Allen smiled cheekily.

The bathroom door opened, and Allen entered. This was witnessed by Kate, who was yawning while heading there as well, having stayed the night in Allen's house.

"Allen never gets tired I barely slept because of Eve and her screaming.." Kate blinked in disbelief, but there was also a hint of jealousy in her eyes. She chuckled, thinking she had no right to judge them, then sighed, realizing she'd have to use another bathroom... or so she thought, but before she could turn around, the door opened again.

...

'Huh?!'

Allen came out fully dressed, and Makima followed behind him, now wearing a slightly different maid outfit than before. She also had a small smile on her face, slightly flushed.

Kate's mouth fell open. Since Allen hadn't used the temporary isolation with any girl in this world, they couldn't know that those seconds for Makima and him had actually been ten hours, where Allen had made sure to remind Makima how much he cared for her... many times.

"Master..." Makima stopped Allen before he entered the main room.

"What's wrong?"

Makima smiled with amusement, "I was wondering how long you plan to make the frustrated black-haired woman wait..."

Albedo was a recent doll, she had caused a lot of confusion for Allen.

To begin with, dolls were usually women who had died in their respective worlds and were reincarnated here; or rather, were forced to reincarnate wherever Allen was. There were exceptions, like Harley, who had originally been a second personality within Dr. Harleen Quinzel, or Bocchi, who hadn't died. On the other hand, the souls of the girls looked like the originals, but thinking about Wednesday's particular case, Allen wasn't sure, since she had died in her world, which shouldn't happen. Now with Albedo, there was also an abnormal situation. She hadn't been brought over when she died, but when she was reborn.

Albedo had originally been an NPC(Non-Playable Character) from a video game, she was created by a player and was to come to life at the beginning of the story when it was to transmigrate to another world next to the Great Tomb of Nazarick. But, as is known, she didn't go to that new world with everyone else. That being the case, Allen didn't understand the obsessive devotion she felt for him.

Being human, Allen should have been an object of repulsion for Albedo. Allen, not being a supreme being or even a creator, should have earned extreme hatred from her for pulling her away from her world. And yet, she seemed to recognize him as her master immediately and offered her absolute loyalty. Allen had accepted this situation and hadn't brought it up since.

Of course, he had asked Albedo about it, but she only responded that when she arrived, she had a journey through Allen's memories and discovered that he would be a wonderful master.

Allen finished his thoughts and noticed Albedo's gaze from the corner. She was full of jealousy, as usual. No, she became much more jealous when he was with Makima, as they technically had some sort of rivalry.

"It's true..."

Allen couldn't deny that he had avoided intimacy with Albedo. This wasn't because he didn't like her or found her unattractive (she was beautiful) but because he simply couldn't understand her.

"Albedo..."

"...!"

Albedo teleported instantly when called and appeared in front of Allen, kneeling, while the jealousy in her aura disappeared, leaving her as a faithful servant waiting for orders.

"Albedo, I owe you an apology..."

Albedo went pale and trembled. "No! What could you possibly do to make me feel that way? Even if you step on me or insult me, everything is a reward for me!"

Allen furrowed his brows and reached out to stroke Albedo's hair. "I have no problem being 'dominant' if you like that, but we need to know the difference between that and just treating a woman badly..."

Albedo started to cry. "Your words are a waste with someone like me!"

Allen felt bad. He had treated Albedo too coldly without realizing it. There was a possibility that even now, those tears were fake. If that were the case, Albedo would be the most convincing actress with the most ruthless heart in the world.

"Get up..." Allen spoke calmly, and although Albedo was confused, she obeyed. Allen pulled her to his chest, leaving her with a mental shortcircuit.

"Huh?"

She hadn't expected this. She hadn't expected it because, since she arrived, he had never tried to be affectionate or intimate with her.

"Allen-sama?"

"No, I really want to apologize for treating your feelings as something fake subconsciously, without even considering the opposite..."

"It's not like that!" Albedo denied.

Albedo was still stunned, she hadn't thought of it that way. After all, she was the last doll and, consequently, the one with the least deep relationship. She had even started to doubt her own feelings and the reasons behind them, but she accepted them because her master was worthy of them, even being human. For her, who had been abandoned by her creators, he was someone who accepted her into his home and as part of him.

Albedo trembled; she wasn't good at expressing these feelings, which is why she often came across as a dangerous, crazy person. Well, maybe she was a little, but there was also sincerity in her heart.

'How do I get this across?!'

Allen, sensing the desperation mixed with fear from Albedo, knew she was about to collapse, so he took the quickest action. He separated from her, not letting go of her with one arm, and with the other, he lifted her stunned face before kissing her.

"Ah– hmm!!"

Albedo was left in a deeper shock. The heat and humidity of his lips felt like a warm discharge that spread throughout her body. Albedo wasn't used to such a thing, but despite that, she clung to that feeling and responded as best as she could.

...

Behind the bedroom door, Eve's eyes were fixed on what had just happened.

'I guess I brought this on myself...' the girl chuckled ironically. This was something she had known in advance, and yet, she chose this path. 'It's frustrating not being able to complain when seeing something like That haha... ha'

Eve felt strange and incredulous. Somehow, little by little, she was getting used to this dynamic. Something that completely broke her common sense. It was terrifying how easily she was accepting all the women around Allen, to the point where she doubted her own mind. Of course, she trusted Allen completely and knew he wouldn't use any form of manipulation or brainwashing on her.

Another woman was leaning against the wall next to the door that connected to the hallway. She was Anissa, who crossed her arms while listening to what had happened. Her opinion was simpler: if Allen wanted more than one woman, he had to have the ability to handle it, and from Anissa's point of view, he had more than enough.

'Truly a unique man... haha'

...

The somewhat sugary moment was necessary to resolve a problem that perhaps few noticed, but it was undeniably an unfair situation for Albedo.

Ten minutes passed before they separated. The weakened girl leaned against Allen's chest, not having the strength to speak.

"Maybe that was a bit intense for your first kiss, haha."

Allen carried Albedo in his arms, and she only blushed, getting frustrated with herself because, as a succubus, she had ended up in this state with just one kiss.

'I need to do my best from now on! Otherwise, I'll be a joke!... But still, Allen-sama's scent is hypnotic. This is the famous Allenium... I see now~ so that's why it's so intoxicating! ❤️~'

Allen set Albedo down on the couch, unaware that she was already imagining their third child at that very moment.

...

The world doesn't stop while Allen resolves the problems in his home. A humanoid dog had attacked Invincible in the dormitories. However, Mark, who had been deceived by Titan before, no longer trusted anyone's words.

Unexpectedly, he was right, and that dog was indeed a Thraxan from the planet Thraxa, who was using an illusion to appear as the hero from the comics Mark liked. According to his excuse, he did it so Mark wouldn't feel uncomfortable in his presence.

The Thraxan are insectoid beings with blue skin and red eyes, their heads resembling a mantis with a human mouth, and their bodies have structures similar to humans.

This visitor was named Nuolzot, and he came to Earth to ask for help from Mark. He didn't know why they would ask for his help, but he had been feeling useless recently, so after some hesitation, he softened and accompanied Nuolzot to his planet.

Invincible notified Cecil of his decision, and of course, Cecil didn't agree. However, Mark argued that with Allen, there would be no danger, and he left.

...

"Walker, I need you to catch that kid and bring him back."

Allen sat on his couch with Amanda resting on his lap, while Anissa stood behind him, listening. When she found out that Nolan had had a child with a human and that the child had powers, she was surprised. It seemed that their race was not lost, and she sighed with relief.

Of course, she could renounce the Viltrumite Empire, but she couldn't renounce being a Viltrumite. A person could change nations, but not stop being human.

Anissa hugged Allen from behind and whispered in his ear. She, too, would do her best to ensure her race continued to exist...

"Cecil, do you think traveling through space is like visiting a supermarket?" Allen mocked. "I have no idea where Invincible went..."

"From what I understood, he went to Thraxa..." Cecil calmed down.

He had assumed that Allen could go anywhere in the universe, but considering that just in the Milky Way alone, there are approximately nine hundred billion planets. Also, there are two trillion observable galaxies; who knows how many more there are. Finding that planet seemed impossible, so Allen wasn't lying about not being able to track Mark.

But what he didn't tell Cecil was that even if he could track him, he wouldn't, because he knew Mark had gone to see his father, who had become the king of Thraxa, got another wife, and now had a new son. This story held little interest for Allen.

MJ – Well, it seems Invincible finally got his little purple brother...

Kara – Didn't MJ say that in that place, they were attacked by Viltrumites who were looking for Nolan?

MJ – Yes, but they were specifically Thula, Lucan, and Vidor...

Yoruichi – Hehe, well, I guess they won't be able to do it this time.

Asia – Life on other planets... I wonder if that happens in our world?

Rias – Asia-chan, you're from our world, right?

Asia – Yes.

Rias – Well, it's possible that it really hasn't happened, considering our world was founded with the Earth as the core, with gods and demons as the epicenter.

[I.M] "Rias is right, It's difficult to say that there is more life, but normally worlds based on mythology and superior beings and not on science have fewer possibilities of having life outside the earth, for example in Record of Ragnarok there is no alien life because the primordial gods would not have created an insectoid race."

Asia – Ya veo :0

He smiled at the cute, surprised face Asia made; although he couldn't see her, it was easy to imagine. Allen hopes to one day meet the lovely girl, and after that, he turns his attention back to Cecil.

"I know you want to keep him on a leash after Nolan's betrayal, but that will only make him distrust you."Allen narrowed his eyes, "He's not a child. If he makes decisions, and those decisions have consequences, it's something he has to accept."

Cecil was more worried about Invincible betraying them than about being killed where he was going. However, this time he had to give up because he had no way to follow Invincible.

Allen hung up the call and thought for a moment, 'With the three Viltrumites dead, Invincible shouldn't even have a problem...'

...

(A some days later, Thraxa)

Allen's words were like a curse because just at that moment, Omni-Man and Mark had serious faces as they watched three Viltrumites descend from the sky, one of them being the second-in-command of the empire.

"Nolan..."

"General Kregg..."

The man named General Kregg was a Viltrumite with an air of superiority but, at the same time, a calm and controlled man. He had a classic Viltrumite appearance, with short black hair and a mustache, but one of his eyes had a red lens embedded in it.

"Nolan, you should be executed immediately, but our Grand Regent Thragg wants to see you in person..."

"And what if I refuse?" Nolan's gaze turned cold, but inside, he knew they could not win. General Kregg's strength was comparable to his, and with the addition of two elite Viltrumites at his side, it was impossible to win.

"I'll kill your son and destroy this planet..." The general looked at him, and he sent shivers down Mark's spine. "Nolan, your sins can wait. Thragg needs to ask you about that human..."

"What about the boy?"

"Boy? That boy killed Thula, Vidor, and Lucan, and apparently seduced Anissa to make her betray us."

"What?!"

Kregg's eyes narrowed, "For the first time in our long history, we have a true enemy... and if you help us, not only will we forgive your sins, but you'll receive a higher position..."

Nolan remained silent for a minute, and Kregg began to grow impatient.

"Dad?" Mark, who had already prepared to fight, noticed his father's silence as he watched in disbelief.

"..."

Mark gritted his teeth, "You're not considering something like that, are you? All that stuff you said about feeling lost... all that crap about me and mom being important, you asked me to take care of your son with another woman!"

At that moment Nolan turned around with a cold expression as he punched a hole in Mark's stomach with his hand.

"Argh!... Dad?!"

"I'm sorry, son, but viltrumites don't give second chances. I can't waste this opportunity."

"L-lie!..." Mark, spitting blood, reached out his hand to touch his father's face with blood-stained fingers.

Nolan's gaze remained cold. "I'm sorry... in time, you will understand..."

Mark fell to the ground, bleeding out, as Nolan stood up next to General Kregg, leaving his children and wife for the second time.

General Kregg nodded, and the four flew into space, where a spacecraft was parked....

"..." Nolan looked back at Thraxa one last time before leaving that second home behind.

Kregg knew what Nolan had given up for the empire, so he didn't judge him for procreating with an insectoid race. "You did the right thing, Nolan; the empire needs your help; this time, it's not a conquest of a weaker race; it's a war against humanity..."

===

A/N: Well, after killing three viltrumitas and stealing one, it would be strange for The Great Regent not to show interest in Allen, although perhaps The General is exaggerating.🍷🗿
