The man seemed to be walking on air and the figure above her ceiling turned to stare at Steacy as she screamed on the floor.
Steacy screamed more and fought with the door. "Mother!" her scream filled with resounding pain and disbelief, cried out, "Mother!!! Mother please!!!"
The man walking passed her window and faced her with a soft expression but she couldn't see it as his face was covered with a cloak. Fresh tears burst out of her eyes and her fists slammed hard on her door.
The man at her window proceeds to walk in through her window. He turned fully to her window and stretched a foot in.
Steacy screamed at the top of her lungs. Her face became pale and her body trembled. The image above her bed that lay there as a movie only stared at her while the man walked in.
Silent whispers swam across the room but she couldn't grab a word from what the whispers meant.
The man fully walked into her room and floated in the air. Steacy scream sounded more painful as the man stood there.
"I_"
Her door was pushed open from the outside, cutting her off her speech before she would even plead with the mysterious figure to leave her alone.
The opening pushed her aside and her face collided with the wall behind her door. She groaned and burst into fresh tears.
"Steacy!" she heard her mother's uncaring voice calling. Her mother was the one who just walked into the room.
'Thank God she came,' Steacy thought.
Neglecting the zero care in her mother's voice, Steacy rushed out from behind her door and rushed towards the woman who birthed her.
She crawled towards her mother and held the woman's feet, "_ I saw_" she coughed and studied how her mother stared down at her.
Reading the look in her mother's eyes, she turned around and started into her room but to her astonishment, everything in her room was back to normal as if it never existed. The figure above her bed was gone and her windows were back to normal.
"What is it Steacy?" her mother yelled and kicked her away from her feet, "Are you crazy? Why would you disturb my peace? Do you not know I am with a man?" she growled at Steacy.
Steacy trembled, "Mother_" her mouth quivered, "I swear_ I swear I saw something. They were strange and decided to visit me. I thought I'd die," she managed to explain and started up at her mother.
Her attractive ocean-blue eyes which can draw the attention of any man were currently filled with tears and her blonde hair was messed up. She looked visibly terrified but not to the woman who stood before her.
"You saw something?" her mother questioned and scoffed in disbelief, "Where are they? Show me," she walked further into the room and in the process walked on Steacy's palm but did not care - not that Steacy cared.
Steacy looked up at her ceiling, "I swear, I saw something," she cried and started at her window, hoping for the man to appear again.
She does not wish for the lady in the casket to appear as the lady has always colored her crazy over the years. Her hope lay on the who appeared tonight, she hoped he would appear again and prove her mother wrong.
The storm which she thought poured outside also stopped and seemed to have accompanied the man.
Steacy's mum, Georgia, rolled her eyes and walked further into the room, "You know what? I wish you died, you foolish child," she cursed, "Are you_"
"What happened here?" the voice of a grumpy man cut Georgia off her curse words. He looked annoyed and was just in his boxers.
Steacy flinched at how mean he looked. She hadn't seen this man before but still, she went ahead to explain. Perhaps he might save her.
Thus, she rushed to explain, "I saw a figure above my bed_"
Steacy was cut off her words as she was sent flying forward from a kick. Her mother kicked her hard from behind and the teenager's face collided the the strong legs of the strange man.
She gulped softly from pain and with pooled tears in her blue eyes, she looked up at the man to help her.
However, when she looked up at the man, she saw a huge black figure standing behind the strange man, staring at her. The figure pointed at her and vanished immediately.
"Monster_ please go away," Steacy yelled and leaped away from the man, as if burned, "Mum," she faced her mother with hope all over her beautiful but now broken face, "Mum, believe me just this time. I saw... I mean I saw something, a new t_"
Her mother's face turned embarrassed and when she caught sight of the disgusted look on the face of her new man, she felt like ending her miserable daughter's life immediately.
This has always been how her daughter sends the men away from her. Steacy father died because of Steacy on a stormy night and since then, she loathed her daughter.
It became worse when the girl began to act this way and claimed to see ghosts. She felt as if Steacy always performed on purpose to send her new suitors away.
Angered, she walked towards Steacy and slapped her hard across the face. "You are so selfish," she cried in raw pain, "Do you not know I am a woman and want my wish from a man? How dare you pull up this act each time to prevent me from being with whom I want? Was this the reason why you killed your father?"
Steacy became numb and her tears only flowed with no words leaving her lips. Her whole body stiffened from the shock of everything.
The man at the door's eyes turned shades darker but cleared immediately they came. He walked further into the room and suggested, "I know of a place I can take her to heal her,"
Mother and daughter swiped their head towards him. Steacy's mother's face was filled with appreciation while Steacy drew herself backward from them.
"Thank you, darling. Let me get you my car keys," Steacy's mother agreed without batting an eyelid. She did not even think twice and left the room in a hurry to get rid of her daughter.
Steacy lips parted and she stared at the man in fear and plea for mercy. She clapped her trembling hands in a pleading position and raised them to her lips in tears, "I beg of you please do not do this. I swear I saw something extraordinary,"
A dark chuckle left the man's lips and he took a step further into the room. The sound of his chuckle startled Steacy and she drew herself away from her initial spot.
"... extraordinary," the man mocked and knelt on one leg before her. He brought his right hand out to her view and balled it into a fist.
When he did, black smoke escapes and spreads up to her ceiling, "...tell me, is this extraordinary?"
Steacy blinked and another scream tore off her lips.
