Max positioned himself on a boulder Northwest of the base, meaning he could move either North or West depending on where the wave spawned.
"We're lucky," Atlas commented.
Indeed, they were pretty lucky. Because the wave appeared from the South, the opposite from where they were hiding.
"I am going now. We will start with my signal."
"Got it."
As soon as Max replied, he saw Atlas run through the gray desert in a stealthy way. He didn't even create a big cloud of dust. From afar, his movement wouldn't be seen clearly.
'While he has no running technique, he can mask his footsteps, eh? Talk about imbalance.' Max thought as he saw Atlas' way of running. 'For now, let's concentrate. The enemy now gathered in the South. I can shoot them easily from this place.'
In just a few seconds, Atlas had positioned himself behind the base, hidden from other enemies. However, unlike the first game, one of the MWRifle members looked around in a lookout. He was clearly wary of the attack.
