Capturing prey alive is far more difficult than killing them.

An overly tight encirclement could harm the prey, even kill or force them to death, whereas an overly slack net could allow the prey to escape. How to control the degree to capture the prey alive has always been a difficult issue.

Kaspar didn't like making simple issues too complicated. He was a pure warrior, with the wild blood flowing in his veins. Rather than spending his thoughts on designing traps and conducting research, he preferred simple and rough methods.

Since it was about capturing, it was sufficient to endlessly chase the prey, deplete their strength and patience, and deliver a strike when both their body and mind were on the verge of collapse.
