The square and surrounding roads have been completely cleared, with guards stationed every three steps and sentries every five. Even blind spots like sewers, bushes, and street alleys have ephemeral-type military units patrolling them. Anyone attempting to breach the blockade without authorization would be given a warm welcome of firepower—if there's even enough left of them to piece together an identifiable fragment, that would be a blessing from the Mother Goddess.
