In the year 1792 of the Longzhou Calendar, on the first day of April, the Treasure Appearance Adorned Golden-body Arhat Buddha refuted fifteen Great Zen Masters at the Jifeng Zen Assembly and pointed out the fallacies within the Three Treasures Realm.
The assembly concluded, and the hearts and cultivation of numerous Great Zen Masters who had attained the Bodhisattva Fruit Position crumbled, their golden bodies imploding inwards.
Afterward, among the hundreds of outstanding disciples from the Buddhist Sect who participated in the assembly, a portion were intimidated by Yanshan's interpretation of the Buddhist path, but the majority of the disciples passionately labeled Yanshan a heretic and the enemy of Buddha.
