Bruce Van slightly cocked his ear to listen to the noise outside.
Evelyn Crawford, however, let out a languid chuckle, "Look at me now, what more can they do to me?"
Her body had just been ravaged by drugs, and at this moment her hearing was no longer as sharp as before, so she hadn't noticed any noise at all.
Bruce Van didn't speak, carefully listening to the sounds from outside.
A moment later, the furrow in Bruce Van's brow smoothed out and his lips curved into a barely noticeable smile.
Could it be Lucas Griffin had come?
He finally came.
"Olivia, you rest up. No matter what you hear outside later, don't go out."
Evelyn Crawford looked at Bruce Van with confusion.
Bruce Van added, "Just stay here obediently, and don't try to run away in the chaos. It would be very dangerous. Trust me, you will be able to leave here soon."
Without waiting for Evelyn Crawford to ask anything more, Bruce Van walked out.
