Chapter Ten
Birthday?
She had just remembered that it was her birthday after midnight.
But she didn't want to celebrate at all.
Sofia Hamilton forced a smile, "Mommy is an adult now, so she doesn't need to celebrate her birthday."
"Do adults not celebrate their birthdays?"
"Yeah."
The little girl frowned, "That's so boring, I don't want to grow up then."
Sofia smiled and put a piece of meat on Lena's plate. The little girl continued to ask, "Will Uncle Li come back tomorrow?"
This question made it impossible for Sofia to keep smiling.
A bitterness in her heart, she struggled to keep her smile, "No."
Wilson signaled to his sister with his eyes, telling her to stop asking.
But his sister still asked cluelessly, "Why?"
Wilson was embarrassed and had no choice but to kick Lena, who immediately screwed up her little face and glared at Wilson, "Why did you kick me?"
Wilson helplessly shook his head, seriously doubting whether this was really his sister.
