He curled up the corners of his mouth and teased, "Don't remember?"
From her reaction, he could tell she genuinely didn't remember.
Moreover, she had no impression whatsoever; it was a complete blackout.
Kevin Gregory coughed, hiding his amusement before saying with feigned seriousness, "You don't remember what you did to me last night?"
Aurelia Wood frowned. The statement sounded odd, didn't it?
Wasn't that something she should be the one to say?
How come it came from his mouth?
She grimaced, "You've got it wrong, haven't you? It's you... what exactly did you do to me?!"
"Last night I wanted to take you home, but... you didn't want to go back. You said you were scared to be alone, scared of the vast empty house..." he deliberately said, making Aurelia Wood feel guilty. Everything he described was indeed her deeply hidden secret. Could it be... that she really told him all this?
Otherwise, how would he know about her fear of loneliness?
