"Why are you suddenly asking about this?" He lifted the corners of his mouth, not wanting to talk too much about the things that had passed.
He had looked for her, every moment of each day.
But, it was all in the past...
Now, they were together again, he had found her once more, and that was enough. There was no need for her to know about everything he had done for her.
After all, he was not a person who enjoyed such things.
Sofia Hamilton studied his expression intently, "I just wanted to ask."
She deeply cared and really wanted to know, yet she could only pretend to be indifferent.
She wanted to hear the answer from his own lips, not through someone else's words.
Ryan Gregory reached out to grasp her hand, her cold fingers causing his brow to furrow slightly. He gripped them more tightly, as if he couldn't bear to let go, and it took a while before he spoke, "I did look for you, for three years..."
"Three years?" She was puzzled, why... three years?
