Regina Brown closely observed Arthur Baker's reaction, and sure enough, as she had expected, she saw his figure pause, then he turned around, looking at her with some surprise.
A tightness clenched around Arthur Baker's heart, his thick eyebrows furrowing deeply.
It was as if a secret and wound, long buried in the depths of his heart, were suddenly unearthed.
Regina Brown was satisfied with his reaction; the more nervous he was, the more it proved his guilt.
"It seems you are quite aware," she continued, "so now, are you still going to force me to leave?"
"What exactly do you want!" Arthur Baker furrowed his brows, hardly able to control his clenching fists, suppressing the displeasure deep within his heart.
