Ryan Gregory pretended to guess seriously, "Do I get a reward if I guess right?"
"You guess first."
"Seeing the smile on your face, you must have handled it."
He said with a smile, actually knowing as soon as the meeting had ended.
The reason he lingered was that he feared she might get involved with Arthur Baker above.
After all, her sudden arrival could make it hard for Arthur to accept at first...
Ryan Gregory curled up the corner of his mouth, pointed to his own cheek with pride, and said, "Reward, come on."
He looked just like a child asking for candy. Sofia Hamilton's eyes curved into a smile, "You've known all along and you still dare to ask me for a reward."
Probably, the Lawyer had informed him as soon as he had stepped out.
Or maybe even earlier...
How could she know if there were any of his connections inside the Baker Family?
