Chapter One
When Sofia Hamilton awoke the next day, she felt pain all over her body.
It seemed as if she had been run over by the wheels of a car.
There was a feeling that she was about to fall apart.
Moreover, her head was particularly sore.
What had happened to her?
Squinting her eyes, she saw the thick curtains, sunlight seeping in through their gaps, indicating that it was already morning.
The unfamiliar surroundings immediately reminded her of the previous night.
Arthur Baker?
Had she still not managed to escape?
That thought scared her into an instant state of clarity.
She hurriedly sat up, pulled up the blanket to cover herself, and realized she was wearing a man's shirt with nothing underneath...
Nothing at all!
Oh God!
The room was empty except for her.
She couldn't remember much else, only that she intended to flee...
