Chapter Four
Under his sharp gaze, Regina Brown became speechless.
Regina's heart raced, her palms were sweaty, and her mind blanked to the point where she stumbled over her words, unable to explain herself, "That is... that's because... I... just happened... to pass by here and saw it."
This explanation seemed feeble and unconvincing.
But she had no better explanation.
Regina felt things were turning sour and tried to defend herself, "Ryan, I called you here just to let you know what kind of woman she is. I did it for your good, I didn't want you to be kept in the dark."
"So? Now that you know I was the man from last night, what do you think, what kind of woman is she?"
"I..."
Of course, she had not expected the man from last night to be Ryan Gregory.
If she had known, she wouldn't have made such a low-level mistake.
Regina felt embarrassed. Did Ryan Gregory not care about saving the face of his legal wife?
How could he defend that woman right in front of her?
