Chapter Two
His eyes were closed, a smile gracing his lips, and he remained silent for a long time.
Sofia Hamilton tilted her head to look at him. "Ryan Gregory?"
"Hmm?"
"Ares you asleep?"
"No."
He responded indifferently, yet his voice sounded somewhat tired and languid.
Sofia Hamilton moved closer to his side, suddenly wanting to ask him about that matter.
After hesitating for a moment, she mustered up the courage to ask, "Will you and Regina Brown get a divorce?"
"In your heart, are your company and career more important to you than me and our child?"
She asked, but received no answer for a long time.
She feared that he would say yes.
But what she got was silence...
Confused, she looked over to find no reaction from him, as if... he had fallen asleep.
"Ryan Gregory?"
"Ryan Gregory?"
She called out a few times, but still, there was no movement.
Did he really fall asleep?
And at such a convenient time, too?
