Just as she was about to walk in, Sofia Hamilton noticed a familiar figure standing beside Chairman Lin.
It was none other than Arthur Baker.
At this moment, why would Arthur Baker be standing so close to Chairman Lin if not for a particular reason?
Sofia's heart sank; she suddenly felt as though no matter how hard she tried, nothing she did could change the outcome of this situation.
Because saying the Baker Family lacked credibility was just an excuse.
Perhaps this was all Arthur Baker's doing—a trap orchestrated in collusion with Chairman Lin.
Their sole aim, undoubtedly, was to force her out.
If she couldn't resolve this, tomorrow's board meeting would surely result in her removal!
Sofia silently clenched her fists but proceeded to step forward.
As she approached, Arthur noticed her and halted his actions, momentarily startled. He then introduced her to Chairman Lin, "Chairman Lin, allow me to introduce…"
