The old butler had chatted with Amanda Smith about old times for a while when he abruptly changed the subject and asked, "Miss Amanda, where will you stay after Mr. Johnson's surgery is completed?"
Everyone tensed at his question.
The old butler continued, "You might not know that during the five years after you left, the Johnson family somehow found a child who looks exactly like the young master Mr. Johnson. It seems the child is truly a blood relative of the Johnson family. I've seen that child myself, and he resembles Samuel Johnson as if carved from the same mold. I've also seen his birth mother. Now that Mr. Johnson is in the hospital, why haven't they come over?"
Amanda's smile faltered slightly.
Although the matter of Tasha Moore was no longer related to Samuel Johnson, it still pricked at her heart.
