Donald Johnson's temples throbbed as he clutched the cellphone in his hand, remaining silent for quite a long time before he finally turned to cancel the task he had assigned in a previous call.
"Samuel," Mrs. Johnson hurried over in a fluster, eyeing her son wrapped up like a bear and asked with concern, "Aren't you hot? Why have you dressed like this and rushed back? Look at you, you're sweating profusely?"
"I'm okay."
Samuel followed Mrs. Johnson over as Donald had already canceled the call and turned around, angrily barking, "Why are you here instead of staying at the hospital?!"
Samuel, knowing he was in the wrong, coughed lightly, "It's been a long time since I've been home, I wanted to see home."
Upon hearing this, Mrs. Johnson inevitably chided him, "You realize it's been a long time? You haven't come back in five years!"
Donald wasn't buying his excuses, and with a frown retorted, "Get back to the hospital."
"No!"
