Samuel Johnson had just spooned some congee to her lips when Amanda Smith gave him an angry glance, reluctantly opening her mouth.
The black rice porridge was perfectly thick and tasted just right. Amanda, having exhausted much of her energy, quickly finished it.
After placing the empty bowl down, Samuel picked up his own and asked her, "Want more?"
"No, thanks. I'm full."
Her words still carried a hoarse note.
After taking care of Amanda, Samuel then started on his own bowl of porridge.
By the time he had finished and taken the bowls away, he found Amanda back asleep in bed.
With a helpless smile, he looked at her slender arms and legs, thinking that in the future he should take her to exercise more.
Her stamina was really too poor!
