If Su Xin didn't know about the jadeite in the mountains, she would have calculated this way: of the three properties she mentioned yesterday, the least valuable was that piece of mountain.
Yet why, instead of choosing the mountain, did Su Xin opt for the bar which was worth more?

Yu Jingrong gave a slight smile. "What do I want? Yesterday, I wanted one thing, but then you were too unreasonable. Thus, today I'm asking for two. If you're willing to exchange two of your properties, then you can see your daughter."
"I'm telling you, that's impossible!" Su Xin firmly refused!
Yu Jingrong curved her lips. "Then forget it, but remember, to you, your daughter is worth no more than a bar."
