"No, I don't want to take medicine!" Nanxi attempts to grab hold of Lu Yinchu, but he's already walking away.
In no more than two minutes, Lu Yinchu returns with a pack of stomach medicine. He gently lifts Nanxi onto his lap, retrieves the medicine with a cup of water, and hands them to her, "Honey, take some stomach medicine to aid digestion…"
Nanxi frowns, rejecting the medicine. She despises taking medicine!
Lu Yinchu -- knowing Nanxi's aversion to medicine -- recalls an old memory from their time in Hong Kong. Nanxi got ill and was taken to the hospital by Gu Xuehong, and he, concealed beneath a duck-tongued cap, followed.
In the emergency room, he sat in the waiting area, with a view of Nanxi being held by Gu Xuehong. Visibly unwell, her treatment plan included medication which stirred her to protest, "Daddy, I don't want to take medicine!"
