"Overturning Water, let's go! Why aren't you moving?"
Qing Qi was surprised to find Su Ran standing still, staring at the stone pit like a puppet, completely motionless, while the Skeleton Bird flew towards the pit.
"Overturning Water, snap out of it!"
No matter how she called him, Su Ran wouldn't respond, which left her bewildered, unable to discern what was happening here.
"Could it be... there's a monster here capable of mind control?"
Qing Qi grew increasingly uneasy, worry filling her heart. If anything happened to Overturning Water, her mission would surely fail yet again.
To be fair.
This was partly Su Ran's fault for not explaining things to Qing Qi beforehand, which led to the current misunderstanding. If it were a more scheming teammate, Su Ran might really have been in danger this time.
Luckily.
She didn't interrupt Su Ran and quietly stayed put, waiting for him to return to normal.
